Beer Additives

Water conditioning can be an important aspect of home brewing. Additions such as calcium chloride and gypsum are used to adjust the pH of the mash. Other beer additives can be used for clarification such as Irish Moss or Gelatin. Beer additives such as maltodextrin help to provide body and mouthfeel to your beer.
